Before the downtown Mob Museum opened its doors a few weeks ago, there was the Las Vegas Mob Experience, an interactive exhibit at the Tropicana that opened to fanfare a year ago. Late last year, the exhibit closed its doors, save for its comprehensive museum with hundreds of artifacts from the mob. Tomorrow, the Tropicana attraction will re-open its doors as the newly named Las Vegas Mob Attraction, featuring new technology and a revamped experience, plus a speakeasy for mid-tour libations.
Las Vegas Restaurant Week Kicks Off
Diners delight! Now through March 4, restaurants all over Las Vegas are offering special coursed meals to help out local non-profit organization Three Square. Meals are $20.12, $30.12 and $50.12 and can be found all across The Strip and beyond! New Art Gallery Debuts at The Palazzo and Forum Shops
Two new art galleries are debuting in Las Vegas. The Palazzo debuted the Natural Wonders Gallery with works from three nature photographers; and over at Casears Palace’s Forum Shops, there is the Martin Lawrence Galleries, now the largest fine-art gallery in the world measuring in at 26,000 square-feet. Inside, works from Andy Warhol, Takashi Murakami, Douglas Hofmann and other 20th and 21st century artists mingle together.

ARIA Resort announces March Signature Tasting menus
This March, the ARIA Resort & Casino is a tasty place to be. Three of the property’s restaurants are offering signature tasting menus. AMERICAN FISH by Michael Mina is dishing out a four-course “Surf & Turf” menu that includes Thai Beer and Lobster Carpaccio, Grilled Kobe Flat Iron and Miso-Glazed Monkfish and more. Over at Jean Gorges Steakhouse, guests can enjoy a menu created by Executive Chef Robert Moore that celebrates broccoli with five-courses of vegetable (and other) goodness. Finally, Sirio Ristroante is serving up a five-course menu which features Maine Lobster, Dover Sole Fillet and Pan Roasted Lamb.

New Monet Exhibit Set to Open at Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art
On Saturday, Feb. 18, the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art will open its doors to its latest exhibit — “Claude Monet: Impressions of Light.” Organized in partnership with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the new exhibit will ceelbrate some of his most recognized paintings. In addition to Monet, other artists included in this special engagement include Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, Camile Piassarro and Eugene Louis Boudin. The exhibit runs Feb. 18 through Jan. 6, 2013. Tickets are $15 for general admission. The gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
